Corrosion Direct Assessment
Introduction

Pipeline internal corrosion assessment, intelligent internal inspection and hydrotest are the major test tools of pipeline integrity management. In recent years, they are among the important methods for proprietors to control pipeline corrosion conditions, to arrange inspection and maintenance, as well as to scientifically manage corrosion risks.

Through collection and integrating pipeline operation data, internal direct assessment can be specifically focused on the internal corrosion risks of the selected pipelines. By using professional multiphase and corrosion analysis software, corrosion risk areas on the pipeline can be identified, and pipeline integrity condition can be defined by excavation and post-assessment.

    For pipeline internal corrosion caused by complicated geographic conditions and internal media in buried oil and gas pipelines, internal corrosion DA method can be used to collect and integrate pipeline data, assess and predict pipeline internal corrosion high risk areas, analyze causes and impact factors of corrosion, and foresee potential corrosion development; Meanwhile, implementing excavation inspection can help to define the internal corrosion risk conditions for the entire pipeline, predict high corrosion risk sectors and calculate rest strength and rest life. The risks can be focused and mitigated and thus the safety level of the pipelines can be improved.
  • Subsea Oil and Gas Field Pipeline ICDA
    Subsea oil and gas field pipeline internal corrosion is a significant threat to pipeline service safety and integrity, and have caused multiple accidents in the recent years.
